Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Light up Wethersfield for the Richard M. Keane Foundation

Wethersfield, CT has a 40-year-old tradition of lighting luminaria on Christmas Eve. Again this year, the Richard M. Keane Foundation is selling luminaria kits to make it easy to participate in this beautiful tradition.
Each kit contains the special bag, a 14-hour candle and instructions. Kits cost $1.50 apiece. All funds raised will support the Keane Foundation 9/11 Memorial Sports Center, which honors Richard “Dick” Keane, who was killed in the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 while working for Marsh & McLennan in the World Trade Center.
Kits can be purchased at Wethersfield Travel and will be available until noon on Christmas Eve. You can order kits by calling 860-257-3775 and arranging a pick-up time.
