9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lt. Jon Sezak of Engine 71 Needs Blood and Platelets

November 19, 2014 - December 29, 2014

FDNY Lt. Jon Sezak is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, being treated for a World Trade Center-related blood disorder. His illness requires regular blood and platelet transfusions.

In order for Lt. Sezak to receive them, all designated blood donations must be made in the Blood Donor Room at Memorial Sloan Kettering, which is open Friday through Monday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and on Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7:00pm.

The Blood Donor Room is located in the lobby of the Schwartz Building, 1250 First Avenue (between 67th and 68th Streets). There is free parking for blood donors at Somerset Parking Garage, 1365 York Avenue. Please enter on the northwest corner of 72nd Street.
