Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Retired NYPD Sergeant Thomas A. Byrne died at his home in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the age of 51.
Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and had a 25-year career in the NYPD, including his time at the World Trade Center-recovery efforts.
A wake will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home in Newark, DE. His funeral will take place at 11:30am there. Attendance will be limited.
