9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Detective John Mele

NYPD Detective John F. Mele, 55, died of World Trade Center-related illness on February 25, 2021.
His wake will be held at the Sisto Funeral Home in the Bronx on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Saint Benedict’s Church in the Bronx.
Interment will follow at Saint Raymond’s Cemetery.
