9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake & Funeral for Mark Christopher Pelton, Sr., USAF (ret.) – Albany, NY

Mark Christopher Pelton, Sr., 52, died of site-related lymphoma on April 15, 2019.
An Air Force veteran, he served both in active duty and in the reserves. Immediately following the 9/11 attack in New York City, he served guard duty at the site of the former World Trade Center, which exposure has been linked to his cancer.
His wake will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 9:00am until 11:00 am in the McVeigh Funeral Home in Albany, which will be followed immediately by a Catholic service and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Troy.
