Wake for FF Robert Tilearcio, E-266

FDNY Firefighter Robert Tilearcio, of Engine 266 died on October 25, 2017 of World Trade Center-related brain cancer. He was 58.
“Skippy” Tilearcio battled for the passage of the Zadroga Act in Washington while ill, assuring that others would have the health care coverage he was denied.
He was a well-loved jokester who will be missed.
His wake will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the South Chapel of the Massapequa Funeral Home.
His funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Massapequa, NY.
