9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for NYPD Detective Joseph M. Roman, 83 Precinct

NYPD Detective Joseph M. Roman of the 83 Precinct died of World Trade Center-related cancer on January 28, 2019.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Massapequa Funeral Home in Massapequa Park.
His funeral Mass will be said on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 10:45am at Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa Park.
His burial will be announced, but it is thought that it will be at Calverton National Cemetery as Joe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
