9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The wake for retired FDNY Lt. Howard Bischoff will take place from 2:00pmto 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home in Jackson, NJ.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Aloysius Church in Jackson.
Lt. Bischoff died on Monday from World Trade Center-related colon cancer. His last firehouse was Ladder 149.
