9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Voices of September 11th Resiliency Symposium – Knowledge to Practice: Pathways to Long-Term Healing – NY, NY

Our friends at Voices of September 11th will present a Resiliency Symposium entitled Knowledge to Practice: Pathways to Long-Term Healing on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in New York City. Registration will begin at 8:00am.

Topics to be discussed will include complicated grief; treatment modalities for children and families; identifying the long-term needs of victims’ families, rescue and recovery workers and survivors; group treatment modalities; and responding to and recovering from traumatic events. The symposium is intended for mental health professionals, victims’ services workers, emergency managers, law enforcement, and other community stakeholders.Clinical CEUs are available.
