9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Tobay Beach September 11th Remembrance Ceremony and Unveiling of Walls of Honor for Victims of 9/11 Illness
September 5, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The Town of Oyster Bay will host their Remembrance Ceremony for the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 7:00pm at Tobay Beach. During the ceremony, the 9/11 Walls of Honor will be unveiled. The Walls of Honor stand in memory of those with a connection to Oyster Bay who have died of 9/11-related illnesses.
All are invited to attend.
The ceremony will include a candlelight vigil, vocal performances, bagpipe music and religious readings. The names of those killed in the attacks will be read as will the names of those featured on the Walls of Honor.
