9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Service of Remembrance for retired FDNY FF Ronald D. Schlitt – Peekskill, NY

Retired FDNY Firefighter Ronald Schlitt died of World Trade Center-related illness suddenly at home in Tennessee on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the age of 59.
Ronald graduated from the Fire Academy of the city of New York in 1995 and retired in 2015, serving the people of New York City for 20 years.
A service of remembrance will be held for FF Schlitt from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill, NY.
