9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for retired NYPD Detective Terence Mulvey

Retired NYPD Detective Terence Mulvey, 62, died of World Trade Center-related cancer on December 1, 2021. Over his long NYPD career, he worked for Midtown South, Manhattan North, the 24th Precinct, the Dignitary Protection Unit, and the DEA New York Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Upon his retirement, Terence became a teacher, and ultimately an assistant principal at Cardinal Hayes High School. He also spearheaded the Toys for Children fundraiser for the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital Child Life Unit for more than 30 years.
Detective Mulvey’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:45am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church.
His burial will follow the funeral at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Due to COVID restrictions, masks are suggested, and time is restricted.
