9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY FF James David Shaughnessy, E-76

FDNY FF James David Shaughnessy of Engine 76 died of World Trade Center-related cancer on April 1, 2021, after a 32-year career with New York’s Fire Department.
His funeral Mass will be said at St. Joseph’s Church in Astoria at 10:30am on Friday, April 9, 2021.
A private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the Shaughnessy family asks that donations be made in FF Shaughnessy’s name to either the FDNY Family Assistance Unit/Fired Up for a Cure or Stand up to Cancer.
