Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for FDNY Assistant Chief of EMS Alvin Suriel

FDNY Assistant Chief of EMS Alvin Suriel died of World Trade Center-related cancer on December 7, 2021. He was a 32-year veteran of the FDNY.
His funeral will take place at the Par-Troy Funeral Home in Parsippany, NJ at 11:00am on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in memory of Chief Suriel be made to either FDNY EMS Help Fund or Compassion International.
