9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FDNY FF Frederick H. “Freddy” Gallagher, L-103

Retired FDNY FF Frederick H. “Freddy” Gallagher died of World Trade Center-related illness on March 1, 2022. He was 61. His career began at E-290 and he retired from L-103.
His wake will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in West Islip.
FF Gallagher’s funeral Mass will be said at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Islip on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:30am.
Burial will follow at St. Charles’ Cemetery in Farmingdale.
