September 11, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
The Museum of the City of New York partnered with the 9/11 Tribute Museum to host an anniversary screening of two recent short documentary films about the terrorist attacks and their aftermath — Chief and In the Shadow of the Towers: Stuyvesant High on 9/11.
Following the screenings, there will be a Q&A, moderated by film programmer Karen McMullen. The panel will feature Harvey Wang and Robert Maass, co-directors of Chief; William Feehan, grandson of Chief Feehan, and composer of Chief; Amy Schatz, director of In the Shadow of the Towers; and Liz O’Callahan and Carlos Williams, former Stuyvesant High School students featured in the film.
Please note that this program will take place indoors in Ronay Menschel Hall. All attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination and wear masks for the entirety of the program.
The screenings and discussion are free with Museum admission.
Pre-register to reserve your seat to the screening here. You must also reserve a ticket to enter the Museum. You can either pay what you wish (suggested admission) at the door when you arrive OR purchase your timed Museum admission tickets in advance here.
