Future paramedic honored with scholarship named for first responder lost to 9/11 illness

Ashley Williams, who works for ambulance companies in Nyack, New City, and Congers, has won a scholarship named for Frank DiGianni, EMT paramedic for Rockland Paramedic Services, who died of site-related cancer last year at the age of 62, reports Nancy Cutler for theĀ  Rockland/Westchester Journal News.
