9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Suffolk County PD Detective Stephen Mullen

Suffolk County Police Department Detective Stephen Mullen died on December 7, 2018 of 9/11-related salivary cancer which spread to his brain. He was diagnosed earlier this year.
Detective Mullen worked in lower Manhattan for the two days after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The wake will be held at Hungerford & Clark Funeral Home in Freeport, NY on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
His funeral will take place on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 9:45am at Our Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, also in Freeport.
