Funeral for Retired FDNY Captain John Moschella

Retired FDNY Captain John Moschella, the Captain of the BatCave, E-26, has died of World Trade Center-related cancer.
A 28-year veteran of the FDNY, he began his career as a firefighter in E-257/L-170 in Canarsie, he was Lieutenant of E-287 in Elmhurst, and retired earlier this year as captain of E-26 in Hell’s Kitchen.
His funeral Mass will take place at Saint Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Farmingdale on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00am.
He will be buried at Farmingdale’s St. Charles’ Cemetery.
