9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Street Renaming for NYPD Detective James A. Schiavone

The Town of Babylon will rename a street in honor of NYPD Detective James A. Schiavone, of the 105 Detective Squad, who died of World Trade Center-related illness on December 12, 2017 from his work during the rescue and recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The ceremony will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the corner of 49th Street and Copiague Place in Babylon.
