Robert Curatolo Bowl-A-Thon

October 6, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Robert Curatolo Scholarship Fund Bowl-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from noon until 4:00pm at Staten Island’s Showplace Bowling Alley.

Food, beer, wine, and soft drinks will be available, and there will be a 50/50 raffle.

The cost to participate will be $65.00 for adults and $40.00 for children aged 17 and under. Funds raised benefit the Robert Curatolo Fund to fund the Robert Curatolo Scholarship. Bowlers and non-bowlers pay the same fee. Payment should be made by check. When ordering, please let organizers know your name, phone number, how many people you’re ordering for and whether they are adults or children, and how many will be bowling. Make checks payable to the Robert Curatolo Fund and send it to the Fund’s address below.

The $5,000 Robert Curatolo Scholarship is awarded annually to a Staten Island high school senior who is in good academic standing, plays baseball or softball and whose parent or guardian is an NYPD or Port Authority police officer, or an FDNY firefighter (active-duty or retired).

FDNY Firefighter Robert Curatolo was killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, while attempting to save lives. He was the youngest of four brothers, all of whom are either police officers or firefighters. He was 31 and had been married for three weeks when he was killed.
