9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The wake for FDNY Firefighter Ray Pfeifer, who died after a long battle with World Trade Center-related cancer, will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 1:00pm to 9:00pm at the East Meadow Volunteer Fire Station 1.
The funeral will take place at 11:00am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Holy Family Church in Hicksville, NY.
A collation will be held following the funeral at East Meadow Fire Station 4 in East Meadow, NY.
