Memorial gathering for William P. Reimer, chief engineer for Mazzocchi Wrecking Company

William P. “Bill” Reimer, 75, died on Monday, February 29, 2016 in Livingston, NJ.
He was the fourth generation of his family to become the city engineer for the City of East Orange. Bill also worked as the chief engineer for Mazzocchi Wrecking Company. He reported to the site of the World Trade Center on September 12, 2001 and spent time there, helping the recovery using a variety of new techniques.
The Memorial gathering for Bill Reimer will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston, NJ. Mr Reimer’s memorial service will be held there at 7:15pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s name may be made to the Fairview Lake and Water Conservation Foundation, 119 James Drive, Ringwood, NJ 07456, or to the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960.
