9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. A Night for Greg – fundraiser for FF Greg Chevalley, who has site-related lung cancer

At 6:30pm on Thursday, November 6, 2014, Engine 233/Ladder 176 will present A Night for Greg, a fundraiser for FF Greg Chevalley, at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh.
A $60.00 donation at the door will include open bar and buffet food. Music, auctions and raffles will all be available.
Greg is a 16-year veteran of the FDNY and a well-respected member of Brooklyn’s Ladder 176. He has been diagnosed with a rare form of stage 4 lung cancer. Greg’s work at the site of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 has been determined to be the cause of his illness.
The family’s situation is complicated by the fact that Greg and his wife Lisa have two small boys, one of whom has Down Syndrome and needs medical care.
