Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lt. John “Jack” Gremse, retired from Engine 302, FDNY has died of 9/11-related cancer.
His wake will be held at Vanella’s Funeral Home in Oceanside, NY on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
His funeral will take place at St. Ignatius Martyr Church in Long Beach, NY on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:30am.
Lt. Gremse will be buried at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
