9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. WTC survivor Joe Dittmar to speak – Lexington, NC

Joe Dittmar, a survivor of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, will speak at the Lexington Christian Women’s Connection “Let Freedom Ring” Guest Night at the J. Smith Young YMCA on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6:30pm.
Dittmar is one of only 7 survivors from a group of 54 people meeting at AON atop 2 World Trade Center. He will tell his story of the terrorist attack. There will also be dinner, a performance from singer Lisa Ramos, and author Karin Williams will share her experience of living in a Communist country.
The cost, which includes dinner, is $15.00. Seating is limited. Please make checks payable to “Lexington CWC” and mail them to Kathy Wright, 300 Still Meadows Lane, Lexington, NC 27292.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be purchased by August 18.
