Webinar – Coping with relapse of acute lymphocytic leukemia

November 19, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

As World Trade Center recovery workers know only too well, blood cancers are epidemic among those who worked the site.

The Cancer Support Community will host a free webinar on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 6:30pm. The topic is coping with relapse of acute lymphocytic leukemia (A.L.L.). The webinar will provide information on understanding a relapse of acute lymphocytic leukemia and provide tips and tools to help cope with uncertainty.

There will also be an opportunity to participate in a facilitated breathing exercise and a question and answer session with the speakers.

Speakers for this webinar are Patrick Andrew Brown, M.D., Associate Professor of Oncology, Director of Pediatric Leukemia Program at Johns Hopkins’ Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center; Lora Hays, LMFT, of Cancer Support Community Central Indiana; and J. Dawson Wells, MSSW candidate, breathing exercise facilitator, Gilda’s Club Nashville.
