9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Sergeant Kevin P. Nuckel of Nassau County Corrections Department has died of site-related illness.
His wake will be held at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Wantagh, NY from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Please be aware of social distancing and wear a mask.
His funeral will be at Holy Family Church in Hicksville on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:15am. Social distancing and masks will be required.
Donations in his memory can be made in lieu of flowers to the Nassau County Correction Officers Benevolent Association Widows and Children’s Fund, 504 East Meadow Avenue, East Meadow, NY 11554.
