9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Retired NYPD Detective Ruben Torres, 66, died of World Trade Center-related cancer on December 14, 2020. He moved to Florida to be with family shortly before he died.
A wake will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 12:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home in Coral Springs, FL.
His funeral service will also be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
