9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake & funeral for retired NYPD Detective Michael John Dye

NYPD Detective Michael John Dye died of World Trade Center-related glioblastoma on April 6, 2021. He was 55.
He joined the New York City Police Department in 1999, worked with the recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, and was promoted to detective in 2005.
His wake will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Trinity Temple Church in New Haven, CT. A celebration of life for Detective Dye will follow at 11:00am.
Interment will follow in New Haven’s Evergreen Cemetery.
