9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired Lt. John J. Brant, Port Authority Police Department

Retired Port Authority Police Lt. John Brant, 61, died on July 19, 2018 after a short battle with World Trade Center-related esophageal and stomach cancer.
He spent several months at the recovery efforts at the former World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
His wake will be held at Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 2:00pm-5:00pm and from 7:00pm-10:00pm. A service will be held at the funeral home at 8:00pm.
Lt. Brant’s funeral will take place at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Grace Church in Central Islip. He will be buried at St. Charles’ Cemetery.
