9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FPNY Fire Patrolman Robert J. Renode, Jr. – Parlin, NJ/ South Amboy, NJ

Retired NYFP Fire Patrolman Robert Joseph Renode, Jr., 67, died on February 21, 2021 of World Trade Center-related illnesses.
Mr. Renode served the New York Fire Patrol for 27 years, and was known affectionately as “the Rat”. He was injured while responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and was unable to continue working as a NY Fire Patrolman.
His visitation will be held at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home in Parlin, NJ on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. Please note that, due to COVID-19 regulations, only 100 guests can be accommodated in the building at once. Masks must be worn at all times.
Robert’s funeral Mass will take place at 9:15am on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy, NJ. Masks must be worn at all times.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
