9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake & Funeral for NYPD Police Officer Matthew S. von Seydewitz

NYPD Police Officer Matthew S. von Seydewitz died of World Trade Center-related cancer on January 27, 2020 at the age of 39.
His wake will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2:00pm until 4:30pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon, NY. A religious service will be held there at 8:00pm.
His funeral will take place at the Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home at 10:30am on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Interment will follow at North Babylon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund would be appreciated.
