Wake for Sgt. Ray McGowan (retired), NYPD

Retired NYPD Sgt. Ray McGowan, 56, died on August 10, 2016 of World Trade Center-related illness. He was 56.
Sgt. McGowan was a 32-year veteran of the New York City Police Department and spent several months on the pile after the terrorist attacks.
A viewing for Ray McGowan will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Martin Gleason Funeral Home in Bayside.
His funeral Mass will be held at 10:45am on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Kevin’s Church in Flushing.
