9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired PAPD Officer Stephen H. Butterbrodt

Retired Port Authority Police Officer Stephen H. Butterbrodt, the long-serving Pipe Major of the Port Authority Police Department Pipes and Drums Band, died on December 1, 2021. He was a PAPD officer from 1973 until 2013. He was also a veteran who served with the United States Air Force.
His wake will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Waitt Funeral Home in Morganville, NJ.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary’s Mother of God Church in Middletown Township, NJ at 10:00am on Friday, December 10, 2021.
