9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Retired P.O. Thomas Waterman, NYPD

Retired NYPD Officer Thomas Waterman died on June 3, 2019 of World Trade Center-related illness.
He joined the NYPD in 1986 and became a trainer for the Mounted Unit. In 2006, he retired after 20 years of service. He then became a New York City Sandhog where he was employed until the onset of his illness.
His wake will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY.
His Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00am on Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. Aedan R. C. Church in Pearl River.
