Wake for Retired NYPD Officer Joseph Michael Heavey

Retired NYPD Officer Joseph Michael Heavey, 54, died of World Trade Center illness on Saturday October 5, 2019.
His NYPD career began at the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx, and he remained a Bronx cop until his retirement.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home in the Bronx.
His funeral Mass will be held at 9:45am on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
