9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired NYPD Officer Edward D. Trennes, 43 Precinct

Retired NYPD Officer Edward “Eddie” D. Trennes died of World Trade Center-related illness on February 16, 2022 at the age of 62. Much of his career was spent at the 43 Precinct.

His wake will be held at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, February 21, 2021.

His funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11:00am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.

After the funeral, mourners are invited to the Shamrock Tavern, Eddie and Teresa’s bar, to remember and toast him.

Based on New York State’s new CDC, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Eddie’s name may be made to Shriners’ Hospitals for Children, Attn: Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.
