9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired NYPD Detective Douglas Boyer – Bronx, NY

Retired Detective Douglas Boyer died of World Trade Center-related illness on November 10, 2021. He was 61.
His colleagues from Bronx Narcotics Violent Crime Squad and OCID escorted his body from LaGuardia Airport to Schuyler Hill Funeral Home in the Bronx.
Detective Boyer responded to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
He retired from the NYPD in 2013.
His wake will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm with a service at 4:30pm at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home in the Bronx.
