Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired NYPD Chief James L. Ward

Retired NYPD Chief James L. Ward, 76, died of World Trade Center-related cancer on October 10, 2021.
His wake will be held at Nolan Funeral Home in Northport, NY on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm.
His cremation will be private. Burial and a celebration of Jim’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research.
