Wake for retired FDNY Firefighter Joseph J. O’Brien

Retired FDNY Joseph J. O’Brien died Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 64. He retired in 2002 after a 20-year career, the fourth generation of his family to join the FDNY.
He worked during the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center following the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
His wake will be held at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home in Port Jervis, NY on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at the Holy Cross Church in Middletown, NY.
Burial of ashes in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Port Jervis, NY will be held at a later date.
