9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FDNY FF Michael Verzi, E-97

Retired FDNY FF Michael Verzi died of World Trade Center-related illness on May 28, 2022. He was 67.
His career with the FDNY 25 years retiring from Engine 97 in the Bronx.
His wake will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Farenga Brothers Funeral Home in the Bronx.
FF Verzi’s Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Holy Rosary Church in the Bronx.
Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, would be greatly appreciated by Michael’s family.
