9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Retired FDNY FF Michael F. Leamy

Retired FDNY FF Michael F. Leamy died on July 23, 2018.
Although already retired in 2001, he came out of retirement on September 11, 2001 to work the recovery effort. He was also a Vietnam veteran, who served in the United States’ Navy.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26 2018 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Franklin Funeral Home in Franklin Square, NY.
His funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, also in Franklin Square.
Burial will be in Long Island National Cemetery.
