Retired FDNY Firefighter Joseph A. “Joe” Hatzelman, formerly of E-218, has died of World Trade Center-related illness. He was 61.
His wake will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Wantagh.
His funeral will take place at 10:45am at St. Raphael’s Church in East Meadow, NY on Friday, February 21, 2020. Interment will follow at
