9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FDNY FF John F. McDonnell

Retired FDNY FF John F. McDonnell died on November 27, 2022.
FF McDonnell worked for the FDNY for 30 years, ending his career with Ladder Company 116. He was an active member during the terrorist attacks of 9/11. FF McDonnell retired in 2014.
FF McDonnell’s wake will be held at the Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster, NY from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
His funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Beecher Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will be led by the FDNY caisson.
