9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FDNY Battalion Chief Edward J. Tierney, Battalion 11

Retired FDNY Battalion Chief Edward J. Tierney of the 11th Battalion died on February 20, 2022 of World Trade Center-related illness. He was 69.
His wake will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Paul’s Church in Congers, NY.
