9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for NYPD Sergeant Supervisor, Detective Squad, Cornelius “Neil” or “Dougie” Douglas

NYPD Sergeant Supervisor, Detective Squad, Cornelius “Neil” or “Dougie” Douglas died of World Trade Center-related pancreatic cancer on June 24, 2021.
He served in the NYPD for more than 34 years. He was also an 11-year veteran U.S. Marshal with the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and a professor at Monroe College.
His wake will be held from 1:00pm until 3:00pm and again from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY.
His funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY. Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Churchyard.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his name to any of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
