9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for NYPD Captain Matthew Hanrahan

NYPD Captain Matthew Hanrahan, a 22-year NYPD veteran, died of a heart attack on March 8, 2016, dying the day after his 45th birthday. Captain Hanrahan’s heart attack could have been caused by his time at the World Trade Center site.
Captain Hanrahan worked most recently at the 100th Precinct in the Rockaways.
His wake will be held at the Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville from 2:00pm to4:30pm and from 7:00pm to 9:30pm on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
His funeral Mass will be said on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Sayville.
Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Lakeland Avenue, Sayville.
