9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. New York State Trooper Joseph Mecca, Jr. has died of World Trade Center-related illness. He served the force for 21 years.
A wake will be held from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home in Olean, NY.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 9:00am on Monday, December 14, 2020, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am at St. Bonaventure Parish Church in Allegany. The funeral may be viewed live online.
