9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for Lt. Michael P. Shea, Nassau County Police Department, formerly NYPD

Lt. Michael P. Shea, who served five years with the NYPD and 26 years with the Nassau County Police Department, died on April 1, 2017 of World Trade Center-related brain cancer. He was 52.
His wake will be held at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Lt. Shea’s funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church in Oyster Bay on Thursday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00am.
Interment will be private.
